I guarantee you.. and mark my words on this, these so called black leaders will turn their back on Obama when they find out that he will not cater to the black community more than any other race. They will call him a sellout and a traitor. I think about stuff like this on Independence day, people celebrate freedom but apparently freedom of speech only stands when something is said in your favor.

Educated individuals would understand that everyone has opinions and if this guy is THAT bad people will stop listening and the market will weed him out, it is not the governments job to step into the private sector to fire someone. Make no mistake, I was offended for those women but I understand the way the system works... the more attention Imus gets the more valuable his show is.

im just gonna copy a post i made on another forum talking about this

that's one thing i'll never understand, here in atlanta where you have places like morehouse, my friends who go there, get ragged on when they go home.
doesnt make sense to me at all. or how certain leaders of "the movement" will call people like colin powell and condi "uncle toms" or similar comments from the DNC, yet, no one says anything to retort, or hell when Howard Dean made the comment ------

During a meeting last month with black Democrats in Washington, D.C., Dean joked during a speech, “You think the Republican National Committee could get this many people of color in a single room? Only if they had the hotel staff in here.”

my god if a republican would have said that all hell would have broken loose.
