so as a cop, do you only act out of personal emotion? that sound like what happened. the cop got offend and slapped the cuffs on and that goes against the oth they take on the bible about protecting and serving.
actually next time you see a cop give him the finger and say your momma sucks and i bet the charges will stick. they have laws on insulting officers, slander, and many other things. the professor should have known better and just been nice and worked with the guy. i know from experience, the two times i was with someone who smarted off to a cop once i was in handcuffs, and the 2nd time i fortunately only got a whiff of pepper spray and on both occasions i was nice.
