The average dollar amount per 100 pounds comes out to close to what I was asking. Just depends on which scrap metal place you take it to.

Where are you located? I can't be THAT far from you.

I'm not trying to start a fight or anything but down here in Macon,Ga scrap is close to $6 for every 100lbs. I took an old 89 prelude with an old motor and brought right at $200 and thats when it was $11 for every 100lbs.

I called peacocks and Macon Iron.... Both in the $5 to $6 range! And the other one over were the dog food plant was is only $4

I'd sell the hood seperately probably...but if you're going to be driving this far just to get the hood, why not take the whole car back with you? I'm not shipping that big ass hood lol
