what ever you do, dont go to tires plus for an alignment. I went there andmy tires wore so unevenly that my fronts wore down in 22k miles on easy driving.

Edit: thats how long the tires lasted altogether, before and after alignment. The wear was terrible after the alignment, in 7k miles, i was down to cords on the inside.

1. Lost my job.
2. Got a new job.
3. Sister gave birth to my nephew.
4. Paid off my car.
5. Started 2 quarter of school
6. drift atlanta happened and i was hoping my exhaust would be here by then.
7. Bought an intake more expensive then the exhaust
8. winter and spring has passed and now its summer!

And there crap ton more and I'm effing fed up with it!

I PM's them asking for an update. I mean, the last time I talked to them, they "recieved" the container and will be doing a "inventory" on it. That was last Wednesday. I called them Friday and they said they're still going through it. Its getting gay, man. I want a J's exhaust, so I don't know what to do. Its the only exhaust I'll be happy with. I want a loud, light, with a dolphin tip exhaust. And, J's has it all...

All in all, I want a dolphin tip (tip that points downward)

They pissed me off last time I went there. I normally buy all of my tires from Sharpsburg Tire. It's a ma and pa store and their prices are usually within $10 of the big chain style stores. I had just bought a set of tires for my Wifes car a month earlier and I needed two loose tires mounted and balanced on a set of loose rims that I had for the Mustang. They charged me $35 just to mount and balance the damn things. So needless to say I will never buy another set of tires from them again. But they do have the cheapest alignments around.

Here at Discount Tire, its a buck for every inch of rim size to mount a tire, plus an addition 15 bucks per wheel for a balance!

4 tires mounted and balance on a 16 inch wheel will cost you $125ish, and thats excluding valve stems, tires, and "tire waste"

Wow, guess I'm used to getting it done alot cheaper. Usually $20 for both. The $35 was strickly to mount and balance. I already put new stems and didn't have any old tires to throw away.

It's been years since I've had to have loose tires mounted. I believe last time was when i was in the Military and had to change over from snow tires to my street tires. I could swear i only paid $25 or so bucks for everything then. Of course it was at Elmendorf AFB Service station so that might have had something to do with it.

I ended up joining the car club here at work due to it. We have our own mounting and balancing machine so I no longer need to deal with outside sources.

Update on exhaust:

6 months for J's products? That is definitely excessive. I just checked our sales orders and we're on a pretty consistent 2-3 month turnaround time for J's Racing products, even made to order exhausts.

I guess one of the reasons why we have much faster lead times than other companies is because we actually run our own shipping company and send containers back from Japan every 2-3 weeks regardless if it's full or not. Other companies have to wait for their containers to fill up before they will send it back. We have a lot of people relying on our consistent container shipments, so we ship back on a pretty strict time table.

I really don't know what to say, and I hope that you get your exhaust soon. At least once you get it, you'll be absolutely elated!

This is the only picture I have on my computer right now but it's cracked the paint on the whole right side of the bumper and demounted my grille. I've already talked to the body shop, I just have to drop it off to get it resprayed.
