    Mine was heat soaked and I had extremely poor traction. My best 60ft was a 2.3. My best 1/4 mile time was 14.7 @95. It felt slow out there but like I was saying, it was heat soaked. I'll run the ram air next time with some better (wider) tires. But every time I ran, my trap speed was getting faster and faster.

    K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.

    how did you heat soak that thing? it was cold last night.. i had a hard time keeping my engine warm.. haha

    I had just got off the highway and onto the track. I should have let the engine fully cool down before I ran. I wish I had inistalled my ram air first

    K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.

    I did 4, but On run #3 I let it cool down a lil bit while I was yanking the passenger seat and 100+ lbs tool bag. When I get better tires, I'll be expecting a 14.4 or better. What tires are you running and what size?

    i'm running 315/35/17's.... and only 4 passes? damn... you have some cooling problems.. i made 5 and had to keep it running in the lanes to keep the temperature up

    rattle can paint sucks.. its 1K paint.. no hardener.. poor longevity and gloss.. won't hold up to wear and tear.. definitely won't hold up to brake dust and repeated cleanings over time.. just not a good paint.. haha.. like you said.. the cheap way out

    i have a lot of clearcoat.


    and i painted my friend's with rattle can paint.. they still look good after over a year.

    lol.. i'm not that worried about it.. i'm just talkin in general terms.. rattle can paint will never be as good as a good 2K base/clear.. or even a good single stage... i have rattle canned wheels too.. it looks ok for a little while.. but when it starts to chip let me know.. we'll do it the proper way.. haha
