I think 'm just gonna stop commin out all together. This has gotten crazy. Getting booted twice in a month or so. Fuck that. Meets in random parking lots are easily spotted by any dumb-ass who drives by and then its spoiled when they want to show off.
That problem never exists when a meet is organized around dinner.
Hell even if you just go in and buy a coke and chill inside... make it a dinner meet.

Only problem with that is not everybody'll agree on a place to eat/hang out.
Andy had that Wings and Things eat deal back in august and about 6 people stayed in the parking lot hangin out while he and I ate inside. Another problem is it'd have to be early because oftentimes, 9:00 is too late to eat for some. You make it earlier and people like Teng and Mezz who don't get off untill late are just SOL. Its just really a pain in the ass and it keeps gettin spoiled by dumb asses.

Waffle House & Steak 'n Shake is open 24hours.
You don't have to eat - just find a centralized agreed upon place to meet.
Purchase a coke, sprite, coffee and chill - no worries.
Afterward you can still stand outside and talk and I bet it will be more welcomed than Kroger or Food Depot since you supported the business.

Other people came for a MEET and hence stayed in the parking lot - we were there for the wings!
Unless you own a large parking lot - I can safely say at some point and time the Newnan piggies will come and break it up if you try and hold if on any of the parking lots of hwy34.

I'd say about 50% of the people went inside to chill (buy a coke or eat) and the rest was outside - I went to a ton of those meets a few years ago, never had any issues.

I really don't understand why a dinner meet is such a weird idea to most. I mean like rob said, steak and shake, waffle house...somewhere where we can actually support the person who owns the parking lot we are loitering in. Then rain doesn't matter or cold or hurricanes.
I think the varsity meets are fine as long as you aren't a doucebag. As long as people treat it as a hobby, rather than a tool for penis enlargement, folks can get together, have good conversation, and not break any rules.
The only reason people started meeting in parking lots was because they were in high school and didn't want to invite all of their ricer friends to their parents house. Now that some of us have houses and/or 24-hour diners, there is no need to risk some tool in a pickup truck/eclipse ruining the event.
