I thought I told you? I order a Mugen hardtop and front lip. I was hoping to get it before now so I could get everything painted before IA the weekend after next but doesn't look like it'll happen. Doesn't really matter though since the car will be going up for sale shortly if I don't trade it in.

I think they look great! They're really cheap, but I think I want something that exposes the lugs though, and showoff my calipers since I'll be upgrading them...

For some reason those remind me of the old wheels off of a Fox Body.

I don't really like them on an S2000. Like you said stick with something that opens up your wheel and shows off your brake setup. Plus I gotta imagine those weigh a ton.

Trust me when I say don't just settle for something because the price is right. You'll end up disliking them in the long run and wishing you had just saved the extra dough and get exactly what you wanted. I ended up settling for the newer style S197 Mustang rims and tires because they were $400 for the set brand new. Now I'm not really excited about them and I'm already looking into buying new tires and rims.

I LOVE these rims... but only on BMW's and MB... s2000.. could do much better IMHO.. but if that is what you want, then do it

Thinking about coming out to another newnan meet soon... How are the turn outs now? Was only at the first one at the Sherwin Williams store.

It's usually a pretty decent turnout, but sometimes the people go to AMS instead so some of the meets can be a bit weaker than the others.

The STI and i didn't go all the way out there. I actually thought the sti would keep up a lot more better but he definitely needs a bigger turbo.

It was a nice turnout to the meet last night. That 240 with the LS2 install is wicked clean. It was nice to see the Miata Crew made a big turnout. Quite a few good looking Miata's and the typical nice S2000's as well.

Also for whomever I was talking to about Zoom Clutches last night, here is the reason i will never buy another Zoom clutch for my application.

I finally got around to pulling my bellhousing and getting down to removing my old (2000 miles on it), slipping, chattering Spec 2 Zoom Clutch this afternoon. When I pulled it out I see that it was not engaging across the whole surface of the clucth, flywheel, or pressure plate. It was only using about half of the face of the clutch. I have to assume it's the clutch disc seeing as both sides of the clutch disk were only touching half of the face. I'm assuming if the flywheel was to blame the pressure plate would have full angagment and only the flywheel side of the clutch would have half engagement.

As for the setup it was installed on a brand new Billet Steel 28oz FRPP flywheel.

Sad thing is I've already changed the oil four times in it.

I don't know if it was just a manufacturing screw up but I'm not taking any more chances with the Zoom clutches.
