Hey watch out on those Ksports. We have ksports for the legend and they blow relatively quickly. I also found the 240 guys are not too happy with them. Just keep an eye out with them!

I've also heard for them to blow often. Civic and Teg owners usually stay away from them. Never heard of ksport used on a S2000, though.

I've heard the Ksport BBK's are terrible but not sure about their other products since they don't make much for the S2K's.

Oh, and I may have found a replacement for the S.

good to finally chill with ya tonight jay. nate (Enthwar) is the guy with the GTi and scott was the other guy. ha. you missed out on some good V food.

How's the cylinder look? Also was the motor overheated, over revved, drop a valve, any other info that might be needed?

Shouldn't be that bad to repair. Is the engine still in the car and if so Is the oil pan easy to get off with the motor installed? Or do you need to pull the motor?

Hmm... We need to have a look at the pistons then. And look at the head while we at it.

I'm assuming the shop just did a leak down check? Might be bad rings. Either way the affected rod/piston will need to be pulled.

Any oil or fuel in the water or fuel in the oil or vise-versa?

How many miles on the engine? If it's alot I would think of rebuilding the motor. At a minimum at least throw a new re-ring / bearing kit at the whole thing if the cylinders are clean enough.
