Well damn, it ain't April Fools day so I assume you're being serious??

I hope you werent speaking lyrically, cuz there's a hell of a lot more than 2 southern rappers that are above Jeezy lyrically and got a better flow. Did you forget about Luda, T.I., UGK, Chamillionaire, Lil' Wayne, 8Ball & MJG, Three Six, Project Pat, shit even Joc and Lil' Scrappy got a better flow than Jeezy... I could fill that list out some more, but I'm lazy right now.

Atleast he was man enough to apoligize which i give him props for. stating hip hop is dead is a matter of opinion in which everyone is entitled to. but no longer can you say the south is the reason for the state of hip hop, i mean chicken noodle soup cats is from harlem. read the article in the source magazine about how the videos of today's rappers particularly from the south look like old movies with black people dancin in the fields like good slaves trying to please their master. it's not the south's fault that most consumers of rap a little kids who idolize a lifestyle that they were never apart of. in the words of Common 'if i don't like it, i don't like it it don't mena that I'm hating. and a lot of bitch music came out of new york it was just squashed by biggie, nas, wu, gangstarr, black moon, tribe and others. we didn't want to hear that bubble gum shit but now that is all they want to listen to.

True. It is opinion, but when it is a mass-felt opinion, you have to wonder. Ya know.

You can't blame the South for the continual downfall of rap, but it did lead it in this direction.

    Who said anything about this?

That's probably the only words of Common that I like. Tis true, also. Later, QD.

i was referring to the quote by Tony that the consumers make the artist which inturn make the bullshit. the problem with rap/ hip hop is it is the biggest selling music genre right now supported by people who are infatuated with a lifestyle they see only in movies and videos and mimic to perfection. there are too many rappers not enough hip hop artist who truly love the art form. but if you received the art form via mtv or bet which was a watered down version meant for record sales and mass appeal what do you expect? u know i am waiting for your reply on this!

Haha, nah. I didnt think nothing of Joc when "It's Goin Down" and "I Know You See It" came out, I actually couldn't stand him and I hated both of those tracks. Until my cousin had me listen to Do Ya Bad, and I DL'ed the CD and he's got some decent tracks on there. I like his verse on Dope Boy Magic, how he counts off 1-15 through each line of it, showed quite a bit of creativity. Hear Me Coming, he flows pretty good on that one too.

Don't have to wait, lol. I got it about 2 weeks ago and I was not really impressed all that much aside from a couple of tracks. On top of that, I didnt really hear any tracks on there that really caught my ear like his last album, cuz there were a few bangers on that one. But c'mon man, you can't honestly say that Chamillionaire and T.I. aren't way ahead of Jeezy lyrically hahaha. Or even anybody else on that list I put up.

Dont get me wrong, his new album definatly aint better then his 1st album, but Chamillionaires album sound of revenge is not even close to Jeezy's new album. I bought Chamillionaires album last yr, and i tried to like it, it just didnt happen. Honestly the only song that caught my ear was Ridin Dirty, and that was a good 2-3 before he released it as a single
