You want update, well here you go

I present the final session before she left the LG:

Session 037:

My bro was on his way up from Central Florida and I still had some things to take care of. First thing I jumped into stripping the rear hatch:



Remove the 2 screws to remove the latch mechanism:



The mechanism:



Of course I had to strip one of the screws The damn thing would not come. Ended up tearing my skin at the finger with the grip of the screwdriver



Drill it:



2 screws hold the open lever in place:



Key hole lock (being deleted):



Remove the 10mm and out she comes:



That's all there is to the key lock:



Decal removal:



Emblem removal (thinking about deleting this as well):



After you have worked the razor blade all around the emblem to break it free pry with a flattip screwdriver and use your finger to pull it free:



Removed and dirty:



Then I removed the EX lip from the bumper:



Ready to roll out:



Needed to remove the door light switch:



Remove the screw:



and out she comes:



Then I needed to remove the roof water rails.

I pushed it forward from the back:



Twist it toward the inside of the car:



and they will come loose:



Mad downforce with the VTAK from the k20:
