How is it obvious? Are you staring at the officer to the point where you can see what he is doing or are you doing your best to concentrate on your driving so he doesn't "profile" you and pull you over? I know if an officer is pacing me, I'm not going to keep looking at him to see what he's doing. Later, QD.
Actually i can watch my rear view mirror and see wuts going on without hindering my awareness of the cars in front of me. And I kno if an officer is pacing me he is gonna pull me over(I've never gotten paced and not pulled over) so I just make sure Im doing everything as legal as I can and just watch him.
You can tell when they are using the computer also because their right arm does some funky stretching as they go to type, and they will do the whole quick look thing at ur car to get the tag numbers right
