    i say rock an isf...

im tired of the bs with the gtr. yes, the 500 is a great ride becasue of the legendary history but i dont believe in what they have made them this go around. the z06 would be cool but once again. they are a dime a dozen in my oppinion with there power, seen them all day long on youtube. the cts-x would be kick ass but also for resale value, the market for that car with 1k hp would be extremly hard to find a buyer for. but once again, great car. the viper... i believe is played out like lambo doors. but now if you were to do say a RAM 1500 SRT-10 would be bad ass... 4 door. put a supercharger or tt's on the truck with a viper motor and maybe even a 2 inch body lift being able to somke vets and shit... that would be extremly impressive to me. but as for my pick the is-f. deffinatly go getter. v8 japanese motor. those have such an amzing look to them but i believe that they are underpowered to the look and sleek styling and interior is unbeatable. plus i think that for resale money, you would be able to stay probibly where you would want to.

as much as I like the 2010 maro for the amount of notoriety it will gain your shop, the CTS-V will/should win out. They are simply baller-tastic!

A genesis V8 would also be nice, but from a business aspect, you will want a powerful vehicle that will offer drool-worthy appeal, but at the same time, move up your level of clientele. That being said, I'd recommend you do a g37.

ninja edit....I'd also like to add M5 to the list. I'd love to see one of those with forced induction. I think it would bump your clientele up a few notches, retain the ballerific status like the CTS-V and be just exotic enough to be nice.

Someone just emailed Dan last week to ask if we would trade our Subaru for his CTSV (right after we sold it). God hates us.

do something against the grain. We've all seen the cars on the list a dozen times over. With the economy the way it is, showcase an affordable car. Also, use a car that will allow you to show off some custom fab. Corvettes Skylines and vipers already have extensive aftermarket support... CREATE something!

Hyundai is trying to break into the sports car world. Theyre cheap, theyre affordable... aftermarket is low... and according to what ive seen in the reviews, this is a well balanced car. I doubt it will produce big HP numbers, but this would give you a chance to be completely original and challenge your fab skills.

also.... the G8 would serve the same idea... but no offense to you GTO cats out their.. but why showcase a dying brand. Pontiac is on the way out, throw a bone to a company on the way up.

I vote for the ISF because it hasn't been done yet and I think theres a lot of potential fabrication involved. The CTS-V is a close second, but I think the LSx is too easy to mod. Either way I think yall should do a crazy twin turbo setup that will make people stare when the hoods up, and its sorta bringing the import market to a v8.

G8, new car, havent seen modded, lot of potential, comes in 6 speed, v8, and I'm sure with some good mods you can see a biblical amount of power from it, and build a pretty well rounded car...

We have a broker looking for a C6 or a CTSV right now. We are really considering the poll. Now, we are looking for the right price (Dan is very calculated). We may add the ISF in since it is at the top of the list.

I'd say ISF, out of the choices listed b/c it's a nice platform that hasn't been done many times.

IMO, a good project car for a shop is one that as new(er) and hasn't been done 100+ times already. It show's how that shop does things, and it'll also grab more attention then say a R34, that's been done a million times over. There are a few choices listed that fit that criteria, so I'd be happy to see that. Good luck with whatever you do, I'm sure it will be nice.

Calypso Green foxbody cars are actually pretty rare as well... especially if it was a coupe car. A clean/stock CG coupe will bring $6,000-$7,000 or so all day long.

Plus its mad easy to drop a BBF in one, and who doesn't want a blown 460+CI powerhouse in a ~3,000 lbs platform.

Totally different, but I remember my BFF's sister was a stripper in the 90's and she had two 5.0's (the heavy ones) and we thought she was so rich!!!! It's funny that my first love of cars was domestic, first the Stingray Vette then the 5.0 Mustang—and I ended up here somehow.

The C6z would be a fun car - but there are plenty of highly reputed companies with kits for em like LPE, Katech, MTI etc and they've all put money into R&D.

The LSA would be fun to work on and since its basically an LS9 with a few cheaper parts - you should be able to squeeze out the power fairly easily.

However I think a V8 Genesis is the best bet. It has been a highly anticipated car and people are just starting to think about mods. This build will probably give your company the most exposure and the best boost in business.

    Good luck!

I have to agree with this guy. The Genesis is the newest tuner car to hit the market with the littlest amount of performance parts. Currently there are shops fabricating parts, turbo kits, etc...but you can beat them too it and offer competitive parts that perform as good or better.

I would say try y'alls had at diesel performance, you could easily bring 1000+ out of it. Maybe even stuff a Cummins in a Viper? Bio diesel? Just throwing out some ideas.

    you guys don't know me...yet...

But I choose the IS-F based on the fact that this is a COMPLETELY new engine and a fairly recent platform...

    -Factory bad-assery is there
-Would be a nice upgrade to your past cars
-lightning fast paddle shift is something new to play with
-bump the compression a little (maybe leave it the same and fortify it) and throw 15lbs at it thru a rotrex supercharger
-has "new clientele but keep the faithful fans" written all over it

keeps stealth, clean looks, etc. super dope wheels and subtle aero, better suspension, etc...and get rid of the God-awful bumper exhaust tips...lol

Here's a comparo with my favorite car... (not on your list)
