No one has even mentioned the 3tc 1.8 push rod engine. They are stupid reliable and capable of a lot of boost with mild prep. up to 300 hp na and to 700 hp with boost on the stock crank. What kind of corolla? Is it an AE or is it a TE and what year? We have parts and can help out. Also a TE72 sr 5 hatch or coupe can take a 7mge using all factory toyota parts. from mounts to oil pan and oil pump.
