The new Z06 is far from Porsche or Ferrari interior but it is nice. Heated leather seats that are incredibly comfortable, perfect clutch/shifter position, memory seats, navigation, a nice gauge cluster that's easy to view.

People don't buy Z06s for plush interiors. They buy them to dominate exotics at a fraction of the cost and for the performance of a supercar.

I love Vipers and Z06s. I have heard more bad things about the Viper than the Z06. Uncomfortable cars, heat coming from the engine into the cabin, feels like a tank when driving. Not to say the Z06 doesn't have it's downsides (weak rear diff and output shafts) but they are much fewer than the Vipers.

If I wanted a pretty and comfortable interior, I'd go buy a Mercedes or a Lexus.

It's a nice bonus to have though. The Viper seems like it's out to kill you. I remember when C&D did their first test on the new SRT-10. They fried eggs on the door sills and cooked a pizza over the vents on the hood. You can hear the whining of the transmission inside, and you've got to do some crazy acrobatics to get out after a drive, lest you melt a calf over the door sill.

The thing about people who buy Lexus or Mercedes...they aren't looking for a thrilling driving experience. They're into calm, comfortable cruising. If you want a car with good dynamics and a well-tailored interior...seems like you must spend close to six figures.

I don't really like the interiors on Ferraris. They are certainly focused, but I wouldn't call them luxurious or anything.

Hah, I think my favorite part of the C4 was the flip lights...they did a backflip.

I think the XLR could use some improvement now. I love how they look, but I don't think they're worth their price. I think to justify a $100,000 price tag (in the case of the XLR-V), they should be on par with Aston Martins. Their interiors are pretty nice, but I think they need to be stellar. I also wish they'd offer a manual transmission, but maybe that's just me. I don't know how manny people in the market for these cars still want to shift their own gears. I think they need to update the platform a little, and they need to up the power a little. It's a shame that the performance division of Cadillac can only just keep up with the "normal" models of it's competitors...for example, the V is competing with the 650 and SL550, rather than the SL55 AMG or M6 like it should.
