BS3 uses driveshaft speed, and can either drop cylinders, or can pull timing like the AEM. The fact is that TC that is not wheel sensor based is simply doing it off mathematical calculations based upon that values that you give it for traction conditions. Changing tires, weather, unprepped track, etc., all affect those calculations. You pretty much have to adjust it slightly each time the conditions change for optimal performance. As you can guess, I'm not a huge fan of that method. Measuring slippage makes more sense to me.

BS3 can be setup to control multiple staged boost solenoids, right? The AEM has boost solenoid control built in, and I thought that I remembered seeing that listed in the BS3, but that was a while back.

To be honest, I am not going to be going with all the other traction control device's. I will be adjusting timing depending on the trac conditions. As far as the boost control capabilities, it can control the boost, but I have a manual controller for that. Keep in mind, I am just using the BS3 for the engine capabilities basicly. About half of what this system is capable of. LOL!
