David Darby is his name, or DD, or Dumb Dave.

The story about him being left a bunch of money was all lies. He made his living off scamming people on the internet over craigslist forums. He posts car parts for sale, cars, etc and gets people to wire him money to like walmart, he withdraws it and never sends anything.

He got popped here in cobb county with like 17 counts of fraud and theft, he went to jail then somehow got out on first offenders or some crap. he moved to denver and has since began scamming again.

I was contacted by the OHIO police about 2 months ago because they were looking for him again, he apparently scammed $10,000 worth of superbowl tickets last year, and they were going after him again.

I gave them all his info and they said they were going to get him as soon as they had a more solid case.

I was then contacted by the Cobb County SHeriffs Dept about being a witness against him, and i said no problem

I rented a room with him for like $250 a month for 1 month, that was the extent of our "friendship". It was only while i was waiting for my other apartment to be ready to move in.

At the time nothing ever seemed fishy, we were all semi friends with him, then one day the Sheriffs office kicked the door in and put him in handcuffs, i was like WTF.

Then it all started to make sense.

I immiedietely packed my shit up and moved out that night
