Well, I made it up there and there was no rain. There were a crap ton of SRT-4's though. That will be the last time I ever go to Atlanta Dragway. I don't like the format and by the time you run your car, its rediculously hot because of how fast they go through the lanes, you can't push the car....you have to drive it(LS motors have very sensitive coolant temp algorithyms...I lose 10hp across the board @ 205deg coolant temps vs. 185deg. Yes, this has been dyno verified). That said, my best time last night was only a [email protected] . Pretty much everyone I talked to was down ~4mph. DA on the night was +2830'. I was getting horrible 60's and not only that, but I was spinning first gear once my car came on cam(4k and above). Hell, I was even spinning into second. A 450whp Cobra(pulley, full exhaust, tune...spoke with the owner) with Nittos went [email protected] barking 4th gear at the big end with a 2.00 60'. 60' could have been better, but it was obvious he could pound the gears. If a 450whp Cobra is only trapping 113's, you know its a crappy night.

Edit: A new R6 also only trapped 118.5mph and a strapped, stretched Busa only trapped 133mph . I am sure he had more mods as it was loud as crap, but that was all you could tell just from looking at it. I guess I just need to run Leavinu or 03CobraAv8er or Lankhoss. Thats the only way I will be able to see if my car is making the power it dyno's at.
