    That paint job is a point of individual expression which no one seems to have anymore. Individualism is just that, not everyone will like it, if they did everyone would have the same one. People that say things like that is so 1999 and shit like that are trend followers. Cars are timeless pieces that can be personalized. Any customization of a car can be expressed as rice as soon as the trend changes. The problem is in the import world. It is based mostly of youngsters who follow car trends just like the clothes they wear. The people who throw the term rice around are super hypocritical. Take the JDM trend. Putting front lips and cheap springs and Japanese parts on a LHD USDM car is just as much "rice" as body kits and wings. If it isn't the trend, it is labeled as rice. To me a car that has a nice paintjob regardless of the style is not rice, if the body kit fits right and is painted to match and is not gaudy it is not rice, etc. To me it is the quality of the build.
