    Default Shift knob WTF

    Got the new shift knob today and went to install it and this happen....
    WTF!?!?!?

    I had a short shifter before but DAMN!

    Lol wow that bitch was on tight. Might as well get another shifter, I don't think JB weld will work for long with all the constant use its gona b going thru.

    yeah i was thinking that to i had an idea of maybe getting it tig welded back on but idk anyone with a tig welder right now....

    My buddy bought a integra and the shifter was literally fucking cut. So now its a short shifter lol. We went through like 5 shift knobs til' one fit.

    so i ripped off the stick as well not just the knob?!?

    yeah thats the old school way to shorten the shifter it self but dont change the throw distance. my knob wont go it the it is cause nothing to grip to

    just go to pep boys and get the kind that uses an alan key.

    I had a few break before. I just used a 4 inch grinder, and shaved it down til it was close to size, and then ran a i believe 12mm. 1.50 die on it. Works just fine.

    yeah i filed down some threads and it went on ok and tight so i hope it last.

    We hammered it in. Sometimes it'll come off, just grab the hammer and hit it in lol.
