nope, no check engine light..the fitv when cold, it opens to let extra air though to give a higher idle when cold, around 2K rpms, and when the coolant gets warmer the valve gradually closes so idle is normal 750 +/- 50 RPMS..when using the block off plate, even when the motor is cold, the idle will still be at normal rpms, around 750..and will just take longer for your motor to warm up when idleing..other than that everything else functions as normal
