    i'd like to know the same thing.. and will this keep the engine from motorboating (idling high, or reving and dropping rpms when in idle)

    yup it will, if it is caused by a fauly FITV. go to this link http://www.g2ic.com/forums/showthrea...threadid=42969

    this should help w/ diagnoising a bad idle..
