Just a bit of advice:

The EX250, aka Ninja 250, is a cutesy bike for someone to putt putt around in. It doesn't make ANY power to speak of until you are zinging it way above 8k RPMs. On the highway, even Yugos passing you (and they can) will literally blow you into the next lane because it weighs almost nothing and its very thin profiled bike. On top of that, most of the color schemes available are very....ummmm....girly.....pink and blue.....purple and white......Just FYI.

Trust me, you will get bored with that bike in a week or less. Then you will be left with a bike noone wants to take off your hands.

If you want a good beginner bike that you don't have to spend a lot of money on, step one step up to the EX500/Ninja 500. It's just as cheap on gas, motor is bullet proof, very upright riding position, very unintimidating power band, good power for a 2 cyl 500cc bike, and the newer ones have a more aggressive fairing combo that makes it look more expensive than it is.
