Give Joey at RaceWorks a call, he's got a couple he's built, one all motor running 13.1. If he doesn't have a stock one laying around somewhere I'm sure he knows where to find one. (770)886-1380 or toll free (877)432-4026

i had a zc engine, when i first got it i did alot of research on it.i always read and heard if you get a dohc zc dont get a brown top.there are a few diffrent kinds of zc's i guess. mine was strong as hell and took boost like a champ.i think he should get a zc just stay away from the brown top.

uhh.. Browntop ZC's drop right into a 84-87 civic/crx chassis. The Black top ZC is meant for a 88-91 Civic/CRX.

Also, another alternative is to find a 86-89 Integra motor.

Yeah, All Browntops have the Little PG6 pistons, but Take a 88-89 Integra motor with the bigger pistons, slap on the Browntop ZC head and you got it made. The Browntops Are identical to the 86-87 Integra motors Except the Head, this is where it makes its extra 15HP.

    And bodydropped:
And Browntops are not the weakest either, they have bigger rods than all other D-series (PG6 rods), and make the same HP as the DOHC Blacktop ZC.

The Browntop is an Aggressive motor especially in a 84-87 Civic/CRX. And it bolts in too! My 84 HB i had with a Browntop was ALOT faster than my 88 Civic DX with Blacktop ZC.
