I sold all my cars before I got married last year. I bought this car as a daily, something to play around with.
It's turning more into a project car than a daily.. so it's got to go before the wife gets pissed that I am spending too much money on cars (again)..LOL
Car sat for 2yrs after the transmission lost 5th/Reverse before I bought it and rebuilt the transmission. The previous owner spent a lot of money to get this car right and he told me it dynoed somewhere around 209/178 when he had the Hondata last tuned. At some point the Hondata had to be replaced and it has not seen a shop tune since.. just street tune.
Info on the car as provided to me. Some stuff I have confirmed.. Motor was built at some shop in Connecticut and this is the info I got from the owner.
00 Si LS/VTEC
143k on body, less than 20k on motor build. I just did all the seals, gaskets, water pump, timing belt.
b16a head with type r (cams, intake manifold), adjustable cam gears, port/polished, valve springs, stainless valves, etc
Block was Low Mileage Core B18a that they put a type r (crank, rods, pistons) into.
AC/Heat Work Great
No Power steering
Urethane Mounts all around
Trans is the original Si tranny rebuilt with synchro tech carbon synchros (just rebuilt)
Clutch masters stage 3 clutch and lightened flywheel. (just installed)
Hondata s200/p28, Could use retuning.
B&M fuel pressure gauge
DC Sports Header and Exhaust.
Interior wise it has Si rear seats, and EX front seats. Previous owner put leather EG fronts that I trashed due to leather being torn. Needs door panels, the ones that came with the car were painted poorly and not worth repairing. No Radio currently
Exterior 6k hid kit, hx wheels, VIS cf hood (faded clear). Lowered on Neuspeed springs.
I have new head/tail lights, grille, Si Fog Lights and Si lip coming for it. (Reason wife wants it gone)
I need cash to buy something a little more wife friendly the price is OBO and the ONLY trade I would consider is something of HIGHER value. I would really like a CJ
