Ok so my car started running like shit. Popping and bucking like crazy when i went full throttle. Motor is a b18c1 swap in a 97 ek obd1.

I replaced rotor button still nothing


so i need sensors that work to try out

Dizzy
TCS
p72 ecu or p05 (i have a p05 chipped thought maybe the map may be bad)
Any other sensor that may cause this problem


car also throws a check engine light after driven for a few minutes but i dont have a obd1 reader

idle goes up and down when light comes on as well. Vtech use to pop very loud due to me having a skunk 2 mani but idk if its even engaging now.


I will need parts soon just lmk what you have. No outrageous prices please. I can buy all this shit on ebay pretty cheap but i dont want to wait. I have doll hairs in hand.

You aren't going to get a new OEM one for $90. Those aftermarket ones are junk.

ok cool do you know around how many miles and is the seal still good? Im having the codes checked tomorrow so if it is in fact the dizzy ill be wanting it asap. My car is in limp mode and im 80% sure its from the dizzy. Where are you located?

well my issue was caused by a tps error but i replaced it and its still shooting me the same code. So im thinking its a ECU problem so i will need a p72 ecu or a p28 chipped for a gsr fi anyone has that i will come buy it tomorrow.

Is the p28 chipped and socket-ed already ? What base map is it on... ? Im trying to get a ecu already on a gsr base map so i can plug and play. Obviously i will have to get it tuned no matter what but id prefer a gsr base map so i dont have to order a chip off ebay or any where else since this is my dd i have to be able to drive it. I have a jumper harness so if anyone has a p72 thats fine too. Its a 94 gsr motor in a 97 ek hatch if that helps anyone.
