WTB: Bike up to $1500

I'm looking for a motorcycle, no cruisers or supersports/superbikes, preferably a standard, naked, 70's CB, Ninja 250, dual sport/enduros, etc. I need something cheap to operate and reliable, it must be 100% mechanically sound, minus minor maintenance items, cosmetic issues are not that important to me. The bike is going to be my daily rider to work so I'm really looking for something fun to commute on. LMK what you have, thanks.

Almost forgot to mention, I also have a 93 Miata to trade for a bike, the trade value for the Miata is $2250. It's black, 118k, brand new Robbins top, the car is overall in fair to good condition. It's been sitting in the garage for months now so the battery is dead but it can be jumped for a drive home. It has a few minor repairs needed to be 100% road ready but is it mechanically solid.
