I have a W58 tranny from a 90 supra nonturbo. i believe a lot of guys use them on ur car. i have drive shaft too if needed. the turbo vs nonturbo shafts were just barely different. tranny is $250. add in driveshaft for another $50. it has about 150k on it and had no issues.

I'm actually looking for the MKIV w58 tranny or the w55.

If I'm not mistaken the W58 is the same no matter what it came from. Not sure but I think so.

The w58 from the 1jz or the mkiii is too short for the sc300. The w58 from the mkiv fits perfectly. With the 1jz tranny,it will be directly above the radio/console.

Interesting. Ok. Glad to know. I bet the difference is in the bellhousing... not the actual tranny. Well good luck to you. I see a couple turboed sc300s up and down Hwy 78 in front of my work.
