that way they arent easily accessible for when someone breaks in and you need quick access. get your gfl and keep the gun on you. when you go to sleep, keep it near your bed and close your bedroom door so the kid cant sneak past you and get it. a gun is useless if its locked up and you cant get to it immediately.
