Default WTB: Ford straight six bellhousing for toploader 3 speed. Also WTB T5 transmission

    WTB:

Bellhousing for Ford inline 6 to Toploader 3 speed. The inline 6 and V8 have different bellhousing patterns on the block. Send me the casting number (the one starting with a C or a D) and I will be able to figure out if I can use it.

Like this... note the position of the starter at 10:00 as opposed to 7:00 like a V8 bell.

    Also wanted,

Good T5 transmission from a V8 Mustang (world class preferred, but I'll take what I can get)

mid-shift tailshaft from a T5 out of an S-10 pickup

I may have the exhaust bellhousing you need. It's on my 75 Ford right now, I'll check it tomorrow if I get a chance.

    Back up top

The block I have is a '78 casting 200. I will have to have a bellhousing with the high mount starter to clear the steering linkage, so it has to be a 170 or 200 bellhousing.

I think I have found a source for the bellhousing from a 1st gen. Bronco parts place.

So what I'm really looking for now is the T-5 transmission.

From an S-10 T-5 I need the top cover, the tailhousing, and maybe the transmission yoke. I will probably just go to Pull-A-part for these parts unless someone has them all in package deal.

And I need a T-5 from a Mustang. I'd prefer a V8 World Class with the 3.21 first gear but I'm open to anything (4cyl, non-WC, etc) at this point as long as its out of a Mustang.

What I'm trying to do with the S-10 parts is make a Mustang transmission with the shifter located in the middle.

Fox platform Mustang T-5 (note rearward shifter location)

Hybrid T-5 (Mustang transmission with S-10 tailhousing, top cover, and shifter)

Up from page 3. PM me a price for the transmission, maybe I can pick it up this weekend if the price is right.
