If you have or know of a 914 for sale (1969 - 1976) please let me know... thank you all. My limit is 20k, but I'd prefer to drag a rough example home. Cash in hand.

TTT. Any of the following flavors will suffice. The only thing that I refuse to deal w/ is major floorpan issues - I didn't do it on my 510, my 1st gen civic hatch, my 80 Mazda GLC and I won't do it for a Porsche. All else is fair game - as long as the pricing and the condition match.

okay so i only know this because my friend was his welder for about 2 years. the uy has enough parts in his warehouse to make a brand new 914. he put a sti motor in a 914. all kinds of crazy shit. the 916 is only one of 10 ever made and is the only one in america. he owns 500+ 914s as parts cars in his storage yard. it just stuns me how this guy made millions on such a simple car. it was also one of the first cars with 50/50 weigh dist.
the sti 914 was stupid fast btw
You have 20k to spend on a 914? You can find them all day long for under 2k lol in rough shape but if you want a project...
I have UP TO 20k - that's all I will spend -- but of course I am gonna hack on it so I don't want to do that to a pristine example. That is my limit though. I have gotten a lot of info bc of this thread --- keep it coming.Originally Posted by simontibbett
