i was thinking the same but was gonna leave it at "ok". It took me 3 months to find my the b16 tranny i recently bought. paid 500 for it and got it from a dude in alabama. but its his money and he needs the tranny. $400 is hard to believe though.

Im not sure if u guys have ever heard of orlandoforums, but anyways, there are trannys on there for 400, to 450. I could obviously go pick them up, but im just too lazy to take the trip. Your right about the condition, but 550 is a lil bit too much. U pay 500 and expect me to pay 550? c'mon

his price was 500 and thats what i paid. if i didnt want to pay that i wouldve threw another price at him and asked if that was enough. obviously its not that serious to me to sell this tranny or youd see a for sale thread. again, youre the one looking for one, not me. ill be selling it soon but not yet, ur looking so i threw the offer at u. if u can get another one for 400 or 450 with nothing wrong with it at all go ahead.

there is a difference between a b16 and gsr tranny which can make the price vary between the 2. as well as supply and demand so what i paid for my b16 tranny has nothing to do with what im gonna sell this gsr tranny for. If 550 is too much for you i can understand that but u laugh at the offer like thats an unheard of price.

Its not unheard of, just unreasonable in my case, from what im use to paying for a tranny. But i have had that tranny for a while, maybe something was wrong with it before i bought, who knows? But basically the the gearing somehow slipped outta place so i would throw it in gear, and let go of the clutch and the car would shut off. Then i jacked it up and did the same, and the car took gears normally until it finally got stuck. I wiggled it until i found neutral , and then checked under the car to see if i noticed anything different. Oil was everywhere. THe casing had broke, and a gear had fell right out. So now im thinking about just rebuilding it

If you havent seen gas lately I suggest you look.Driving to Orlando to pick up a tranny when your going to spend the extra 100$ on gas. Hmm what if you get to Orlando and the guy doesnt pick up, or the trannys bad all that for a hundred bucks.
