    Default Beginner Motorcycle

    Hi guys,

Looking for a 250 or similar beginner motorcycle. I've heard to start with a 250 Ninja, but most of the ones are craigslist are $6000+...

My friend is a motorcycle mechanic, so if there are some minor problems, that is fine, too.

Budget is right around $1500, so please let me know what all is available!

PM would be the preferred method of communication unless someone wants to post in here.

No. I'm hoping someone has an older bike, or one in need of some work.

Or someone with a great deal?

if you have little to no experence on 2 wheels, get a dirt bike (nothin fancy) and learn to ride off road. you will learn much more bike control on a trail vs. pavement. plus if you fall in the woods you really dont have to worry about other people running you over.
