    Default WTB: YS1 GSR Cable Transmission w/ LSD

    I know its really rare, but im looking for a YS1 GSR cable tranny, preferrably one with an LSD. If you have one with or without an LSD, lemme know a price. Thanks

    good luck on finding one.. i had one that came w/ my swap.. it was a real good transmission but for some reason the stock lsd's that came in the cable tranny's seem really bad... mine broke easily.. by just slamming 2nd gear on a joy ride...

    Well im also looking at getting one without an LSD and putting a Type R LSD in it, new from Acura. So basically im looking for a 92-93 GSR tranny, no LSD. Shouldn't be to hard to come across i wouldn't think but who knows. Then again i could just use the S80 trans and just get the Innovative mounts conversion setup, its just i wont have a speedometer reading anymore which will really suck.

    the Integra Type-R LSD's don't fit in there.. But I'm almost positive the Civic Type-R LSD's do.... You will still have a speedometer reading if you do the cable to hydro conversion from innovative... Just use your existing VehicleSpeedSensor (VSS).

    Ive heard it doesnt work with the S80 transmission. Its completely different correct?

    The VSS, I'm almost positve it will bolt in, I wouldn't see why it wouldn't...

    Im thinking that the S80 is what came on the Type R engine, my fault. Your prolly right though, i dont know much of Civic stuff as ive always dealt with H22A and Accords haha. Thanks for the help though man. On that note ill just stick with the S80 trans that comes on the OBD1 JDM GSR Swap.

    that will work too.. but the gears out out of a YS1 GSR is much better though
