Yes a b16 head will fit, an will make that thing fly, lol.....b16 is a good flowing head, same head molding as the type r just different cams,valve springs,
i have a built one for $300. pm me for more info.
^^ i hope you dont think you can just "throw" a vtec head and expect it to last long you have to upgrade things such as rod bolts and i would upgrade the rods/pistons. also typer heads are mildly ported on the intake side!
