th400 with the manual valve body and shift kit is the way to go. lmk when you're out this way sometime and i'll take you for a drive. oh, and let's just say on the same tune the 400 is good for a second immediately even with a driver lke turbo dave on the sixspeed consistently.Originally Posted by 93H22ACX
my personal 2 pennies, i would go with a 400 before getting the boost logic stocker built. it will never be as strong as the 400 and the power i know you wanna make. dont know the cost of a boost logic one but you can get a real nice 400 for a 1800 that would hold 600 or so. manual valve body, custom shift kit and high stall cost extra!!![]()
hope some of this helps. like i said, just my personal opinion but the auto is just soo much better. i've driven both, like the auto better, even stock. i can still drop down into second at 90 too.![]()
