    Default s2000 question

    looking to maintain obd-ii compliance but am looking for something that is capable of tuning a turbo s2k. what are your suggestions (based off of what you have worked with)? I'm interested in both stand alones (if possible w/ obd-ii... i dont know anything about hondata k-pro) or piggy's that are capable of fine tuning enough for a mild turbo build (400+whp)

    2000-2005 s2000 using kpro and modifications is obd2 tool readable and smog compatible according to hondata's site.

    2006-2008 s2000 uses a dual ecu configuration (stock reflashed with items disabled and a kpro ecu to control everything else). due to this configuration it isn't smog compatible according to hondata's site and cruise control no longer functions.

    appreciate it.... is kpro as versatile as say an aem ems? or are there greater limitations?

    also will factory security system still work (is the alarm and immobilizer independent of the ecu used?)?

    02-05=no immobilizer
    06-08=doesn't state, but you still use the stock s2000 ecu for certain functions, so i would think it's a possibility.
    aem=no immobilizer
    in a honda it's just as versatile as you'll need, unless you need to run extra injectors.
