Yeah I gotta agree with sport here. Butterbean seems to be a pretty good boxer but from the looks of the fights you posted he isn't fightin anyone in his weight class. I'm sure he has no ground game or clinch skills, to be in the UFC/PRiDE/K-1 you usually have to be a pretty well rounded fighter. But if he did come in to MMA he would be a pretty dangerous stand up guy though.

He has fought in Pride Fights.

He is not an excellent fighter but he is entertaining, and is powerful.

I can see why you guys would say the fight was ended to early, but lets be realistic here, Liddell was dominating Ortiz's ass. Which is really kind of sad because I was hoping for a much better fight. Tito's a great fighter, and his defense against Liddell was actually quite awesome, but his offense was almost pitiful looking compared to the way Liddell was hyper-aggressively knocking him around the ring.

Liddell was dominating him in stand up, especially in the 3rd round when they were going toe to toe, by that point Liddell hardly even had to guard from Ortiz's shots. How many of Tito's take down attempts worked? One, out like what four or five?

Call it what you will, but I think it looked like Ortiz was intimidated from the second they got in the ring together. I honestly believe Chuck managed to get into Tito's head, just like they said, because Tito really wasn't fighting like himself.

During most of the match, Chuck has to practically chase Tito around the ring to get him to step up and trade shots with him.

Chuck packs a more powerful punch, a great take down defense, and an almost scary counter strike ability. Whereas from what I've seen of Tito's fights doesn't he usually have to take his opponent to the ground to defeat them?

Every time Liddell and Ortiz have fought he's lost; and the only person to beat Liddell in the UFC (Randy Couture) also defeated Ortiz. I think Ortiz is a great fighter, and an even better teacher, but his arrogance, and ego seem to be his greatest weaknesses.

Say what you will about the match being ended to early, but even if the ref hadn't stopped it, I highly doubt that Tito would have been able to face off with Chuck for much longer.

The only unavenged loss off Liddell's is to PRIDE fightings Quinton Jackson, who was recently signed on with the UFC, and is supposed to be fighting Liddell at UFC 67, (I think).

Butterbeans got a killer strike, but if he were in UFC, someone would take him to the ground, and I think it'd be all over for him, shortly thereafter.

I agree with you 100% about the fight. Even if the fight hadn't been called in the 3rd round I believe chuck still would have won. It did seem to me like Ortiz was scared to get in there with chuck. Like you said he kept backing away and Liddell had to follow him around the ring. Which is uncharacteristic of chuck to do cuz he's usually more on the defensive side. Ortiz is usually the aggreser in all of his matches, quick to get them to the ground and finish with a ground and pound. That's pretty much his signature. I can't wait to see more upcoming fights this season!

Yeah like I said before he would have to train on his ground game. Or atleast have some good take down defense. He's got one hell of a punch as you can see from the videos but like you said if he does down, I doubt he would be able to turn it around easily.

This is true, though I believe rampage has some A game chuck hasnt seen in awhile. Quinton is a good friend of Tito's...should be interesting.

Also UFC 67, Quinton will fight Marvin "the Beastman" eastman as his UFC debut. Eastman was Rampages first professional fight and loss
