You will have to forgive my delay in responding to this post. I saw the vid last night but I didint really start reading the post until just now.

Now I realize that this thread has progressed very far, however I want to say a few things.

1. As someone already stated, that was an 1/8mi not a 1/4. In a 1/4 the GTR would have won hands down.

Not to say the GTR is the ULTIMATE car, just stating the facts.

2. This thread has gotten a little crazy. Everyone is on here just talking shit.

3. I am down to hit the road course with the three of you. I would like to see how my GTR performs compared to the other vehicles. I still have my stock suspension and such, but I think I should still be able to hold my own. Just let me know some dates and shit and I will be happy to set shit up with you guys.

4. That R34 is SEXY as hell! Course still not as sexy as my baby! LOL.

5. I realize we initially started off comparing stock to stock, however in my opinion that is ridiculous. Did any of you here buy your cars for what the can do in stock form? Doubtful. We buy cars because of their POTENTIAL. Keep that in mind. From a strictly potential aspect, the EVO is a superior car to the WRX and STI as far as bang for buck. As far as how the GTR compares to the EVO, they are 2 different cars made for 2 different things. Depends on what you are comparing. A GTR with the same amount of money as an EVO would own on a drag strip, however the EVO would outperform it on a road course with expert maneuvers. Now dont get me wrong, the GTR would hold its own, however if there are serious maneuvers the EVO would be a bit better. In the same context however, if it is a beginner road course, I think it would be a VERY close race.
