I did autocross for years before we had the shop. Trust me, it's not all it's cracked up to be. I could choose to autocross just as well as drifting, in fact, autocross is a little more accessible....I choose to drift.

Funny story about the autocrossers. 2 of them were up watchig the drifting but didn't have one of our bracelets on. So I go over and ask them if they could do so. They say they already signed the SCCA waiver and I tell them it's not the same. So they as they start to walk away one of them says "drifting is boring anyways". I just thought it was funny because I saw them watching for like 30 minutes before I made it over.

I respect the people that do it, its just not something for me. Maybe if I had the funds or something like that to do the proper repairs on my motor or my car when it got dented or something... THEN maybe I would be into it.... just something that costs too much. Plus, ive had a friend thats passed away due to trying to drift on the street in his s14 cause he was trying out his new suspension... dont support it too much after that either. Granted u shouldnt be drifting on the street... people do it all the time, despite the events.
