Forrreal. If I paid over 200g's for a car it would have to be ATLEAST mid 12's.

the ferraris aren't built for a straight line, but take then on a road course and you can do very well if you can actually drive.

LOL Your beginning to sound like an s2000 owner Im just saying that a car with that kinda price tag SHOULD be able to accelerate faster. Especially the ones with the manumatics which can shift quicker than an actual person. I mean seriously TT 911's can do 12's and they cost LESS than the F460. If I owned a car costing that much then it better be able to outrun an ugly 240 with an rb or sr swap thats got a boost controller and is tuned for 25psi. A car like that would probably run somewhere in the 12's.

but it's also bone stock and built to last and luxaury...they could drop their F1 motor in a car, strip it down to the bear essentials and do some hardcore damage...but i guess the heated leather racing seats, climate control, etc. can be kinda nice...factory performance; no S2000, no built sr20, no anything in the <$20k would even hold up to 10 laps of actual driving on a road course, they'd all have fried brakes at the least, no to mention transmissions/clutches on the edge of failure. the ferrari would have an easy 20-30 more laps...bone stock, probably similar claims for a porsche.

a lot of it also has to do with the drivers, i doubt that the ferrari was putting out its %100 perfect run, but regardless, it's not going to be anything crazy low.
and as for porsches, last i heard, ruiner's best time was a 12.9, 12.8...certianlly not the only porsche in the world but just one of the times i can recall out of one

you can beat pretty much any car with pretty much any other car...you just sacrifice luxuary and relaibility, ferrari doesn't compramise much in their road car construction, nor do porsche or the others in that market.
