Didn't you dyno 340whp?... or did you re-dyno recently and dyno 290whp? Losing 50whp off of a 340whp can be drastic and does suck... but at the same time, 290whp is more than a stock Supra and they run faster than 15's...

When you say you drive the car daily with the boost controller off, do you mean you're driving around on wastegate spring pressure only? If so, I don't know how you can possiblely have fun with that car... its one thing to drive around in vacuum or very low boost by modulating your foot... but driving around purposely on wastegate spring pressure just has to be horrible. =[

With a good day/night's worth of practice, you should be running a lot better times. Take a trip to Steele, Al instead of Commerce and you'll get tons of runs in, in a day.

Oh, btw, you should feel lucky that you have a digital copy of your very first run at a drag race track... its something to cherish and look back on in the future. Everytime I'm around some ppl (like Val =]), I get reminded all the time 'bout my first run at a dragstrip... and coincidently, it was against a single-turbo automatic Supra making high 400whp.

I dyno'd 338.4rwhp on 15lbs of boost, with full BPU like I have now.. I should be close to or right at 400rwhp.. but since my compression is low im going to be very careful how I drive it for now on. I usually dont turn on the boost controller when im on the street just cause I drive it alot since both of my other cars are in use. I plan on taking a trip down to silver dollar at the end of next month and get more runs in. I only got one in at commerce that night. It is very kewl to have it on tape.. it shows me what I need to work on.. but it also sucks cause my car wasnt at its full potential.
