I dunno, that vid does look kinda FFD'ed to me...your cars sound way too high pitched and at the end, that hand movment was just like a blip...

I passed it along to some other people to see what they think....

because two guys I know with onboard cameras on their bikes dont look ANYWHERE that fast....and these guys know how to ride.

it's kinda boring played at regular speed because we weren't pushing our limits....i got the rear a lil loose but normally i'm doing an all wheel slide steering into it while feathering the throttle My car is extremely neutral....Pher had some understeer issues running my old suspension but not once did i get any tire squeal

mebe, but it's twice as long and twice as big I have several more roads to edit too.

...but being the dumbass i am i didn't get the best run recorded. I was cleaning off some older pics on my 1gb memory stick them remembered i had a couple 32mb in my bag...i cleaned them too and then didn't put any of them back in the camera So i started "recording" at the lake up to the first hair pin, got stuck behind a truck after the big hairpin then started "recording" again at wolfpen gap where it was uber slippery...i get to the other lake to review and no freakin memory stick! ...i wasn't about to do the run again and test my luck.

exactlyyy, i put the camera in my car on the way back up...i knew he wasn't gonna keep up I had to explain to him about running up hill...nearly all turns are to your advantage up hill and i prefer g-forces over downhill speed anyday

    haha, cool video

Is that part of the road where the mtn. runs are regularly?
because I expected the roads to be a little tighter.

naw they get tighter, we went over to Helen for lunch, that's 75. Hwy. 348 (Richard B. Russel was closed) so it was just 129, 60, and 180.

You can drift the hell out of 75 though.

RRR was closed? was there still ice on the road somehow? i saw some leftovers in the video in the shady spots but i guess it's possible up on RRR since a lot of it is constant shade and higher elevations.

Yeah, unfortunately it was blocked off right before the road got good.

It was probably iced over on the long straight and those few short curves in front of the big cliffs...that part rarely sees the sun this time of year. The road was blocked shortly after the church (well you know, where the road block signs sit year round on the side of the road)
