So whats the rig on the tripod? Im really interested in the electronics you use to fly the plane 10+ miles up. Whats the Sat readout on the display?

The tripod has the video receiver, and the video receiver antenna. It also has an antenna-tracker. This means that wherever I fly, the antenna rotates and pans and tilts to follow the plane. As far as the RC control and how I can control it for many miles - it's a DragonLink LRS (Long Range System). It's half a watt of power and is UHF.

The display tell me lots of information --> MPH, altitude, number of satellites locked (you need satellites so you know how to get back to yourself), amp draw, total milliamps used, home arrow and distance to/from home and number or Volts left in the battery pack.
