    me too! imm very impressed. im sure it could be done ALOT cheaper with a LQ4 iron block but its different for sure.

    But imagine how cheap those blocks are to find if you blow one up. Theres more 3800 engines out there than D16s.

    thats true, but i would think you would have too rebuild it after every run, i mean those 3.8's are far from the best motor chevy ever made lol

    Well excuse the exaggeration, but a GM 3.8 is basically a LS1 with two pistons shaved off. They have plenty of room for potential and are pretty simple to build/rebuild. Great find though
