why the hell do you need hoodpins at 100Mph

u obviously didn't watch the video.

i went to work one day and seen a del sol riding down the road with the hood up like that. i had to stop and make sure they were ok though.

they were riding down the road with it up? lol, oh my.

actually i thought hood pins is just for quick release and access its not having the hood shut right that causes this
