A drunk guy at Zoom Fest did this last year and shattered his Rx-7s transmission, when he shattered it last year at the same event only the first time he was sober, and the tranny old and worn. The launch in reverse also broke his differential. HE nearly ran me over doin git. we were all up late, and he was drunk racing his electric scooter around, wen a BMW driver bet him that his 7 couldn't beat the BMW. I was laughing at the electric scooter but wanted no part in influencing the car race, so as I was walking away behind the car just as they were launching, he dropped the clutch and if the diff and tranny didn't get torn to bits I might have been hit! Pretty funny stuff in retrospect cause the guy was being retarded.
