    I think the driver was really just plain stupid! Prolly pissed and was gonna take off in a hurry....and paniced when he backed up over the cop car...that being the reason for the continued revving....funny stuff though!

    that was not "reving" that was the rev limiter. It doesnt bouce so quick on non-performance motors. weather or not the driver held the pedal to the floor to achieve such is debatable.
