lol, I dont have any speakers on my work comp., but I would assume there was a lot of oil or something on the track....right?
the reason was they were all on race tires and it was only raining on that side of the track. a slick+rain=wall. same thing happened at the SCCA runoffs at road atlanta back in the day. I want to say it was a 32 car wreck and all of them were GT1/ trans am series cars

b.c they were thinking the rain was going to hold out. on a 2.5 mile track, its can be raining on one side and not even know it. trust me, its happen to me before.
BTW, driving a wet tire in the dry waiting until it starts to rain is just as bad as a slick in the wet

you should have heard the in car audio. One of the porsche drivers (the one that got SLAMMED into) was about to take off his belts and get out of the car and his crew chief was yelling at him to keep them on and no more than 5 seconds later he got hit. lucky
