    They'd over heat. Snowmobiles on asphalt can only run from start to finish then have to be shut down.

    They have extrusions under the tunnel. The coolant runs through tubes above those. When the snow and ice packs in them, thats what cools the engines. With out, you'll trash the motor. Also, The tracks have a hard nylon part that it rides on so as not to trash the suspension, and track components.

    It'd take a whole lot of work to make it to cool, with places to mount a radiator being minimal, also making it to where you can have a wheel seat on the rear. They make wheels for the front already.

    Also, for emissions purposes, the RX1 or w/e by yamaha, is running the 4 cylinder R1 bike motor, minus the transmission.
