and the kid is right. you dont have to say where you are going or where you are coming from.. i usualy do when i get pulled over for something wrong, because then i know i cant get away with it. but if i know i didnt do anything wrong, ill tell him its none of his business..

you don't waive rights just because your on gov't property. that lot was also 24/7. i completely understand your point though. the cop was nice enough in the beginning, but what he did was wrong. imagine if there was no camera and the kid decided to be a total smartass. he'd have b.s. charges pending, which he'd most likely be found guilty for. that cop doesnt need to be a cop.
